Try Before You Buy!
You're ready to dedicate time to increasing your skillset and want to make sure that you are getting the best bang for your buck. This makes perfectly good sense.
With many great colleges in the state to chose from, it can be difficult deciding which program is best for your needs, and let's face it - which instructors have a teaching style that favors your preferred learning style.
You can attend a full session of any digital forensics and/or information security course that is running in a particular quarter. The digital forensics and information security courses typically run in the evenings from 6:00 PM to 8:40 PM, and varied times on Saturdays.
When you come in to attend your session, we encourage you to talk to other students to see how things are going for them, and we also invite you to be an active participant in the class. There is no obligation on your part, and we will not give you a "hard sell" to convince you to get your education at EdCC.
To get started, search the schedule and find a CIS Department digital forensics and/or information security course you are interested in. The courses are CIS 201, 272, 273, 274, 275, 277, 278, 279, 293, and 294.
Once you have found a class, email the instructor, either Steve Hailey (shailey @ edcc.edu) or Mike Andrew (mike.andrew @ edcc.edu) and let them know what day you plan on attending your session. That's all there is to it.
